"My name is Emma and I received the Kawartha Region Appaloosa Horse Club Youth Scholarship in 2010. I am now completing my third year at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa in the Kinesiology program. I have had a lot of success and am looking forward to continuing my education with a post-graduate program or professional school. Financial aid allows me to work less and focus on school more. Hi Donna!

My name is Rachel Parr, and in 2011 I recieved a scholarship from the KRAHC. I have been a member of this club for approximately ten years and am very grateful to have this club support me both in my horse endeavours as well as my academics. I am currently completing my second year at Loyalist College, and will be graduating this year with my Environmental Technician Diploma. I plan to return to Loyalist for a further year to complete my Technologist Advanced Diploma. I look forward to continuing my membership with the KRAHC, and participating in the events for 2012.
